This is my tenth year in education and my first year as an instructional coach. I was in the classroom for nine years (two years in second grade and seven years in third grade). I feel so blessed to be working in a district where I am surrounded by truly wonderful staff, students and leadership!
I grew up in the Republic area, but now live just south of Willard Central with my husband Dallas, our son Grant, and our chocolate lab Daisy. Grant will turn 3 in September and we are expecting our second baby boy the 1st of October.
I graduated from Drury University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, and received my master’s degree in education from Lindenwood University. I recently finished all the requirements for my specialist’s degree in Instructional Leadership, also through Lindenwood University, and plan to graduate in December!
My family is very important to me, and I am blessed to have most of my family and all of my husband’s family living very close. My weekends are often spent enjoying my family and wonderful friends.
My husband is a farmer and a musician, so I also love listening to all types of music.
I believe in working hard to build relationships, trust and a collaborative learning environment. I believe that great things can happen when we work together! I am very much looking forward to working with and learning from the amazing teachers in the Willard school district.
